The school has a Child Protection Policy and follows Lancashire Safeguarding Board procedures in order to ensure the care and safety of the children.
Every effort is made to provide both protection and care for every child. The school has a dedicated team of teachers and non teaching staff who have a great collective experience in recognising indicators that a child may be in need of support and monitoring. If concerns are deemed to be beyond the remit of the school, the appropriate agencies will be contacted and correct procedures followed.
All staff are trained in Child Protection.
