The introduction of Small Animal Care to the Crookhey Hall vocational options has seen the arrival of some new creatures to the school. The long suffering cockerel Dave has been given some hens for company, along with Guinea Pigs, and the imminent arrival of ferrets and finches to name but a few. The children will be learning all about the maintenance and upkeep of the animals and surroundings and entering into a very hands on approach to the subject.
