Mr Creed, head of Maths, and Miss Crabtree, Senior key worker, took a group of boys to the MOSI in Manchester.
Mr Creed came back with the following report,
” Thursday the 9th July saw an inquisitive bunch of Science explorers set off from Crookhey Hall in search of knowledge and power. On arrival at MOSI it became immediately obvious there was an abundance of both. Guided by the wise, old pairing of Miss Crabtree and Mr Creed, the intrepid crew explored the beginnings of the industrial north through to the vast empires of electricity, steam power and aviation.
The young scientists; Jamie, Tom, Scott, James and Matthew even found time for some hands on science work in the XPlore zone, with the latter nearly losing his head to a tornado, as a hugely concerned Scott looked on!!!”
