The following pupils were involved in a full days activity at Grizedale forest on Wednesday 15th July:
J Clough
J Kirkby
R Dornan
M Cornwell
C Antcliffe
L Corley

Mr Ireland, head of PE and outdoor education at Crookhey wrote,
“The activity involves several high rope zip lines and various activities suspended 60-80 feet in the air. Pupils had to work independently, securing themselves to the trees and zip lines, by disconnecting 2 carabiners and a free wheel systematically, which when 60 feet in the air, demands a certain amount of ingenuity, concentration and courage. All of the boys completed the course, displaying excellent behaviour, tact and skill. A special mention should go to J Kirkby and R Dornan who were initially very scared of heights.”
Well done to all involved, and we look forward to this being something we can develop and enjoy throughout the future years.
