May at Crookhey Hall, and the start of a new Summer term saw a visit from The Army, organised by Senior Personal Tutor Mrs White.
A number of activities were available to both children and staff, to give everyone an idea of the options available in the Army.
With the arrival of the World Cup, it was only fitting to mention the Senior Football Team who were earlier this month crowned league champions. Having only lost one game all season, the boys involved should all be very proud of themselves. Mr Philips, Senior Team Coach, had this to say,

Students and staff returned to Crookhey Hall under a veil of snow and ice. Although only a small number returned it was pleasing to see the willingness to return and take part in all activities permittable.

As an end of term treat the majority of the senior football team took a visit to Eastlands, the football ground of Manchester City FC. A great day was had by all, and the staff were very pleased with the excellent behaviour and attitudes taken by the pupils.
